Steamed Eggs Sunny Side Up

They have a healthy method in the new "Great Taste at Every Level" book for steaming eggs. You first boil water in the mixing bowl for 5 minutes / 100c/ speed 1. Then you crack the eggs on to the Varoma Tray and cook them for 6 minutes / Varoma / speed 1.

They were delicious. What I would call a healthy fried egg although it was steamed!

Accompanied by the less healthy fried potatoes, bacon and buttered toast!

Hash Browns

The Everyday Cooking for Thermomix Families Book has a Recipe for Hash Browns.
First you chop the Potatoes for 3-5 seconds at speed 5 and then drain them in the Simmering Basket to remove excess liquid.
Meanwhile you chop Onion and Garlic and add Flour, Eggs, Salt and Pepper and combine them with the reserved Potato for 20 seconds/ Reverse/ Speed 4.
You then form them into patties and fry them.

Here they are before and after cooking. They went well with Sausage and Eggs.

CADA - A healthy summer breakfast

CADA stands for Coconut, Almonds, Dates and Apple.
These are the four ingredients for a simple, speedy, yummy breakfast.
40g coconut, 40g Almonds, 40g Dates and an apple  cored and cut in quarters.
My Stampin Up Upline, Monica Gale, who is also a Thermomix Advisor gave me the recipe recently.

2 seconds on turbo and voila it is done. How easy is that.
I have been told that keeps for a few days in the fridge without the apple going brown but i don't think that it will last that long!
